About Melissa S. Grant

Melissa is originally from a small town in Connecticut. I relocated to New York City about three years ago. I graduated cum laude with my BA in psychology from Western Connecticut State University and my MA in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. I hope to get my PhD in Clinical Psychology as well, but that is a story in progress. I am a sucker for the psychology scene in New York and that is really where I would like to base my career. My research interests include evolutionary psychology (I just think it is really interesting to think about), neuroscience, psychoanalytical psych, issues of control, personality disorders, and depression among others. In my spare time I love reading, watching TV shows with no laugh track, and spending time with my boyfriend and my cat.
